That atmosphere was cool as shite. We looked like arse, but their team and fans came to play.

That is not only embarrassing, but a serious character problem if this team thinks all they have to do is show up!

For all the bitching we do about football and how NIL is ruining everything it was nice to know college baseball can still bring it when it comes to passion.
These MF are getting PAID and still think all they have to do is show up. frick that shite!

Go when the opponent is not LSU.

They put a lot of fans in seats for most games. UL has a good baseball (and softball) program and decent fan support. Probably better than football or basketball, TBH.

I am and LSU grad from Lafayette and personally experienced the little brother syndrome with a lot of USL fans for many years - however, some USL fans respect LSU and simply enjoy the challenge of playing LSU in various sports - playing USL in any sport, especially baseball, is good for the fans and good for this state which does not have a lot of other things to rally around - like it or not but USL is a quality mid-week opponent that, win or lose, will only help LSU in the long run -

Hats off to the Cajun fans in sec 102. Solid group of young and old dedicated season ticket holders who provided plenty of extra entertainment.

Your statement was nice except for your opening where you evidently had to begin with this sob story:

Hope you’ve found a way to cope with those meanies who are just all over Lafayette at every corner.

UL's stadium looks really nice.

It does, if they could elevate football for multiple years and support 60,000 in attendance the Big12 will come calling as the name “Louisiana” screams big time program.

This attitude is what I don’t get. Who gives a shite about “Louisiana baseball?” We ARE Louisiana baseball. We need to look out for ourselves and ourselves only, these other programs in the state wouldn’t give a shite if we never won another game again. People say we need to play more of these midweek road games in Lafayette or Ruston, I disagree, we don’t benefit any from this, we have a huge disadvantage in these games. The opponent plays it like it’s their World Series and we just can’t afford to do that. Plus we lose money that we could have made playing a home game.

Let’s get the record straight again- there is no “University of Louisiana”
They are ULL, not UL.

Louisiana State (Like on the front of the late 70's/Early 80's basketball jerseys] didn't win and that's all I give a shite about.

Gonna p*ss some of you off but there is baseball in Louisiana outside of Baton Rouge.

So let's say the obvious

1. LSU is the king of college baseball
2. AB is an incredible venue
3. We ( i am a UL fan) know you are going back to Omaha and have a great chance of repeating.

But the Tigue is a great venue... Yes outside of the P4. We have been in the top 20 in attendance for a lot of years.

The problem we have with Tiger fans are 2 fold

1. We want to be as good as we can be. Repeating we know you are the kings of college baseball. But that does not diminish what we have built in Lafayette. A very solid.. maybe top 30... college baseball program year after year (last year being the outlier). We simply don't understand your clear insecurities over another state school striving for excellence.

2. Now the name issue. Other than in our own state, we have successfully branded ourselves as "Louisiana". Check ESPN games.... Check Fox games and all of the other net works that do carry our games. THIS DOES NOT DIMINISH YOUR PROGRAM... Has NOTHING to do with you. It is BRANDING. For the 2 or 3 of TD posters who actually graduated from LSU... Go check your diploma... Louisiana State University Agricultural and Mechanical (aka A&M) at Baton Rouge... 100+ years ago you successfully branded yourselves as LSU. Why oh why does someone else in Louisiana actually stiving for excellence bother you.

Don't tell me you don't care.. There are multiple on multiple posts every few times we match up with the Obligatory "I didn't know we played Louisville last night. Whatever.

Go pack your bags for Omaha.. You are very likely to be back there this year. I will say this.... Wednesday your team played very sloppy... I don't want to hear mid week game yada yada.. Baseball is baseball. You gotta clean that up or you may not make it back to Omaha.

The Tigue is an electric atmosphere every night. Wednesday we played the defending national champions. OF COURSE it was even more so. Had it been Texas or whoever that was the defending national champions it would have been equally electric

Get over yourselves
