As usual you miss the point. Even if they have that over LSU in basketball which is questionable, they aren't going to be able to compete at the highest level like LSU for much longer.

The TV contracts all expire around 2030. The wolfpack ain't gonna have a chair at the big boy's table when the dust settles.

You read about the $20.5 million each school distributes to athletes through profit share. That isn't monopoly money, it's real. It's also going to rise each year by a few million.

Schools like NC state and Syracluse won't necessarily be able to keep up with that yearly raise, and they'll be left behind.

LSU has ZERO chance of being left behind. Is it out of the realm of possibility that a coach may be looking for a soft landing with people he's familiar with as opposed to taking his chances in a shaky situation. Especially one he's had ZERO TIES to before this year??
