Chicken, I've never belittled an LSU player and don't feel the need to do so. Again, I fully understand where you're coming from but remember....... you live by the sword and you die by the sword. You opened a forum up for LSU fans to speak out on LSU football, good or bad. In addition, a large segment of posters were allowed to make negative or nasty comments for so long that now they're upset by your effort to regain some control over what's being posted.
I appreciate the service that you run here and hope that it continues for many years to come. However, TD has become such a huge draw that even the pundits are now using it in an effort to gain insight into the state of the LSU program. Any given week you can find several rumors running wild about what's happening within the program. Fertile feeding grounds for those who are simply looking to start crap.

I find it funny that Chicken has to start a thread about this. Apparently TD.com is the first place players and coaches go to get their info on how they are doing.... :lol:

Seems to me that if it is within Miles' power, he can silence MOST (never ALL) of these critics with strong, disciplined performances, win or lose.
If it is not within his power, well, maybe the criticism is deserved and appropriate.
The issues are not new.
There are high expectations for the team.
Does anyone advocate lowering expectations?

It does seem that some posters are too angry toward other fans, the team, and the coaches. If you don't agree with them they start cursing you out. As for the players, they do read this stuff, and they should be reading positive stuff to have positive thoughts, not cursing and slander against them and the coaches. Lets have constructive critisism, not ignorant attacks.
