It is sad that most of our "bragging" revolves around alcohol abuse or changing words to be spelled with "eaux".

It does? I see it as loads of LSU fans travel to ball games, and spend lots of money on drink AND food, not just for alcohol poisoning.

We really need an entrance exam, these days.

Good beer everywhere these days, especially in the PNW. Great beers if you know where to go.

There are some American breweries that specialize in Belgian style beers like Leffe.

In Corvallis, if you want Belgian style beers, go to Le Caves. Fantastic beer selection AND, a very good value for dinner. They also serve brunch on weekends, so it makes a good place to pregrame. It's right in the heart of Corvallis, right next to Block 15 brewing and less than 1 mile from Goss Field.

It’d be cool if an OSU fan came over and gave recommendations. Need to know where the eager beavers are BAW

It's the "NEW" would have or in prior instances, must of is equal to must have.

Apparently some posters were too busy typing on message boards and not paying attention is English.

Hope this helps!

Yes. The state of Oregon is one of a handful.

I'll be high as a kite at first pitch.

Where are you staying?

There have been several suggestions already.

Eta....I don't know much about Corvallis so I know where I'll be spending some free time.

Block 15, at the production facility sitting outside.

Oregon is micro brew central. I think the better warning is for the fans traveling to learn that types of beer are not Bud Light and Coors because most of the bars brew their own.

I wouldn't go that far.

Fans won't have a problem getting light beers etc, it's a college town.

It's not a Coors light place.
