Not sure how anyone can be happy about this, very nice kid, did not workout here, moved on. Father and whole family seems very nice, LSU alums, Mom died young, can we wish him the best and move on!

He wouldn't be starting here right now with and he knew it. That's why he left.

FWIW, I think if he had a battle with Underwood for the starting job next season, I think Bryce would beat him out as a true freshman.

He made a bad decision and I wouldn't be surprised to see him transfer again

I got him and Jack Bech out of the portal in NCAA '25 and won a natty at Tulane so I'd say he's doing okay

This is one of the most baffling QB transfers in the portal era. Nobody blames Walker for transferring out of LSU's talented QB room.

But why transfer to Ole Mrs, when Dart if firmly entrenched as the starter with TWO years of eligibility?

Somebody gave this kid bad advice, and his name rhymes with Joey Freshwater.

What about he OP or subsequent post implies “happy”. The kid was an LSU legacy that quit on the program to go play for a hated rival - presumably where there was less competition for more playing time. OP is making a point that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

He quit to get more playing time and ended up sitting at least two more years lol

When betting on yourself goes wrong. Poor Walker coward

Listen.

I’m sure he’s got a nice family and that’s awful to have to deal with something like that with his Mom.

With that said he knew that LSU went all in on the WH basket when Louisiana had its best QB run in decades with him manning Holstein and collins. Taking him meant putting the others on the back burner.

Then he doesn’t even try to stay and compete, he decides to leave less than a year in after LSU was locked in and missed out on Holstein and manning.

Not only does he decide to leave he leaves for one of our most traditional rivals.

Pretty low move IMO.

Obviously, it’s not working out there either. He’s in year 3 of college and is in the exact same spot on the depth chart he was in two years ago. I guess banging Kiffin’s daughter makes him blind to that fact.

And then he doesn't even leave for playing time. Dart had TWO more years. He left for the NIL money. F That!

It doesn't matter. Both have moved on and wish him the best of luck.
