Hurley has a great attitude. Tebow-esque. But I question his ability to play QB at the level he’s been rated on recruiting services. We’ll see.

I guess that smoke about not wanting to be 3rd string next year and practicing with the scout team again was true. Is what it is. I don't personally agree with it because him and his dad wanted a redshirt this year and LSU obliged while still getting him reps against Southern and Purdue, and next year is JD's last year of eligibility so there was a path for him to compete with 4 years of eligibility left.

But on the other hand I can see why a 5* guy doesn't want to be the scout QB 2 years in a row, even if he is a legacy player. Just hope he goes to TCU or something and not someone else in the conference. Best of luck.
