Howard being 3rd string in 2023 wasn’t going to make or break the season. The people who are melting are worried about 2025 and 2026. It’s totally illogical to want a weaker QB room in 2023 on the hope that Howard develops into a star by 2025 or 2026. So much can happen between now and then. Howard could be a bust. Nuss could stay through 2025. Hurley could surpass Howard. A better QB could transfer in in 2024, 2025 or 2026. Howard isn’t a guarantee and he isn’t the only hope for a top QB in 2025 or 2026. Daniels and Nuss give the team the best chance to win in 2023. They can worry about 2025 and 2026 down the road.

I know about Georgia QB depth it’s not easy to research and I don’t think he ends up a Georgia. I am guessing Auburn or TCU but who knows. I’m sure he has a plan.

My point was that highly recruited QBs transfer every day and this isn’t unique to LSU.
