The ACC is so easy LSU went 1-2 vs the ACC this past season. Could you imagine what they would do in that conference? Hell they might win 6 games!

14 SEC teams did.
Which means that it’s beyond easy for any team in the SEC, that has even a half arse decent coach should easily make the tournament, right?!?!?!?!

Someone tell SW that the chess move now is to fire his dud basketball coach so that Year 4 McMahon isn’t compared to Year 1 WW

ACC sent 4 teams to the tournament
SEC sent 14........
Not sure it would be a fair comparison, but go ahead lol

Let's pretend for a moment that the SEC and ACC are equivalent MBB leagues.
This actually means it's easier to make the NCAA tournament in the SEC than the ACC, as long as you handle business OOC.
2 SEC schools with 6-12 Conference records made the tournament
4 SEC schools with 8-10 Conference records made the tournament.

This isn’t even a question. Wade in his first season here took a patchwork roster and won an NIT game which is more than what McClueless has done here.
Unlike LSU, NC State is just one of the hundreds of basketball programs that actually have standards and expectations.
Wade will put an exciting product on the floor next year while we’re led further into the abyss by the arm folding wet blanket.

But did he accept it though?
Clearly he meant accept, except he typed except instead of accept.
I'm going to be highly annoyed when NC state does better than LSU next year.

Some of you are beyond help...
"As long as you handle business" in arguably the toughest conference top to bottom in the history of college basketball....I mean I understand the hate for MM, but my god this is beyond ridiculous to make these kinds of statements.
We were 11-2 OOC, tf you talking about????

J, he was talking about the OOC. The benefit of the SEC being so good is that you never take a bad loss and if you can win 6 games your metrics will look better than most teams

I said handle business OOC.
With the conference as difficult as it was this season, you didn't have to handle business in Conference play, thus 6 teams with losing Conference records made the tournament.
More margin for error in the SEC, this year, than the ACC.
None of this means anything for an entirely new season, though.

Wade by a country mile

Evidently LSU and about 5 contrarian fans still think it takes multiple years to "build" a successful basketball program. I fully expect Wade to get close to what Louisville did this season after they realized Kenny Payne was awful (5 ACC wins in two seasons) and made a change. Louisville was 8-24 (3-17) last season despite having the 5th ranked signing class (HS recruits and transfers).
This year, with a new HC, and 13 new players, they are 27-7 (18-2) preparing to kickoff tomorrow 's first round of the tournament.
COACHING MATTERS.
Wade has a .700 career winning %. McMahon has fewer SEC wins in 3 seasons than nearly the entire league (excluding OU and Texas) has in two seasons.
Who do you think will perform better?

Ohhhhh ok I was gonna say.....

Is this a serious question?? Wade will make more progress in year one than MM has in 4 years at LSU. LSU basketball is bottom of program priorities. If I had a choice between watching LSU men’s basketball or paint dry, I’d choose the paint.

God this makes me sick.. What could've been..

Depends on if WW can hide the cheating.

All we've heard at nauseam was that Wade was going to land a big-time job.
So why hasn't a major program hired Wade yet?
