Here is a fundamental all college players should know and practice The Keys To a Strong Basketball Stance

We either ignore such fundamentals or we simply don't teach them.

No, he is the gundy or leach of cbb

an absolute genius on the offensive end, not very good at defense though.

wade is the smartest offensive coach in the sec right now.

The greatest offensive coach would be able to keep up. The scores would be 100-98 or something.

Recruiting and developing players are two different things. Wade hasn't achieved the latter yet which keeps the program in neutral with an occasional brush of brilliance vs. upper echelon teams.

He has very good offensive teams, but I don't see him as an offensive genius. He recruits offensively talented players and is generally good with game plans, but I don't see us blowing teams away with scheme or anything.

What planet do you live on? Five guys playing pick up basketball is not an offense

We rarely seem to have an offensive play in mind when we come down the court.

We score because of great talent playing street ball. When we run into a good defense we lose.

Can't coach what he doesn't know. Most people would beat him in a game of one on one.

I don't disagree. Wade is generally good at game planning for defensive weaknesses in the other team, but I think analytics and all that stuff can only get you so far.

Cam is the only potential NBA player on the roster. We have nobody over 6’7” (Watford can’t jump so he is like 6’7”) so I’m not sure about his recruiting.

Such a genius that our players stand around the 3 point line and marvel at the ball handler.

The shot selection of this team is atrocious. We are lucky we have a few guys with NBA talent or we would be a dumpster fire.

It’s amazing to me how many so-called “basketball fans” we have who are so ignorant. Yes the team has been a disappointment so far and yes it’s on Will Wade but it has nothing to do with “fundamentals”. Wade made a poor schematic decision which has led to abysmal defensive play and it’s just that simple. As far as actual fundamentals are concerned we’re an excellently coached team in that regard. The silly “fundamentals” argument is usually accompanied by bitty basketball language like in this thread.

When the 3-point shots aren't falling, a team needs to adjust and take the ball to the basket, or screen to set up solid looks at 2-pointers.

It would be great if Wade could hire an assistant who is considered a defensive specialist, particularly one who can teach players how to not allow so many wide open 3 point shots.

You are an idiot. Nate Oats offensive philosophy blows Wade out. Musselman is great too. Wade gets by on talent and quick transition buckets. His offense is not special at all. It's mostly isolation and a lot of standing around when they're not in transition.
