He and Rouse are tight. He will be back.

He will be in P&G again, we are working out the details (money)

Yes. They are friends. Not just former colleagues, boss-employee, however you characterize their relationship at McNeese. Wade loves Rouse because he gave him a spot to remind people what he can do. Rouse loves Wade because he made him look like a genius. Plus whatever else they have in common. But make no mistake- they are close. And that hasn’t changed because they are no longer working together.

Not saying that at all You F’ing Moron but look at the plain and simple facts. Women’s Bball won a Natty, sells out every damn game and still loses Millions! If not for the SEC TV Deal it would be the same for Men. This is not some made up Bs. This is something anyone with half a brain can google and realize in a couple of minutes!

They’re not the same sport idiot. You can’t be this stupid and btw you said that’s not what you meant but then repeated exactly that. The baseball team loses money so by your logic we should spend nothing on baseball and fire JJ…. You’re a moron

The football only fans make up a sizable portion of the Mcmen at this point. Also the Mcmen struggle with reading financials as seen by multiple post.
It’s absolutely insane that 16-52 isn’t enough reason to fire the fricking loser

Well when your logic is “a woman’s sport loses money even thought they win so winning in a men’s sport will lose money” you have zero idea wtf you’re talking about especially when 100% of the facts say otherwise.

You could provide him the financials, highlight the important takeaways for him, and he would still be absolutely clueless. I promise you some of these posters were relegated to sitting in the corner of the classroom, wearing a dunce cap.

He forgot to mention the quality of life in Raleigh compared to BR.

We’re both on the movie board a lot and you see some posters failing to understand the simple difference between net and gross. This poster seems to have the same limitations when it comes to an elementary understanding of business only this guy is trying to use a totally different data set to justify being wrong so he’s even worse.

That quality of live argument is silly when you are talking about someone that is in the top 1 percent of wealth in a community.
It’s kinda like the ole miss people crying because Oxford is a “snow globe” town and BR is a shite hole.
Will Wade would only have to be in the shite parts of town if he was scouting a kid at like McKinley.
BR has better places to eat and drink than Raleigh especially when you don’t have to pay or it doesn’t matter because you make 3 million a year, your kids go to Uhigh or any other private school.

For some of these posters sake I’m hoping they are paid athletic shills and they are being paid to defend MM anyway possible. Though it is concerning if LSU isn’t teaching kids how to read and understand the most basic financial concepts.

And like you said you just have to look at the reports issued every spring and compare them side by side. Even simpler still go look at news articles about those reports that do the math for you in terms of percentage growth or depreciation so you can be spoon fed the facts in case you’re too stupid to do it for yourself. This guy won’t even do that. He’s willfully ignorant, one of the most self harmful things a person can be.
Posted on 2/22/26 at 1:31 pm to Madking
They can’t do that and then taking the same reports bama has and showing what happens when you decide to be worth a frick in basketball is far too much for them to understand.
I really don’t get how Matt McLoser has more defenders than BK who while not doing much didn’t suck as bad or Smoke who did more than BK but got no excuses for his sucking and eventual firing
shite PM who won a natty takes more bullets for his short comings than Mr 200 sec winning percentage.

These same posters can’t differentiate between NIL and revenue sharing. Very simple and distinct concepts that go straight over their heads.

These are the posters who used to say anybody could have the same success we were having previously and that coach was underachieving. When McMahon was hired, especially after the first composite class came in at top 15-16 they all declared he was a huge upgraded. Everything since has been about ego, defending their idiotic and uninformed takes, making every excuse to justify them. Now you do have the Woody boot lickers and the one retard who just hates basketball fans because they didn’t love Orgeron enough but most are the group defending their predictions.

They’re also the posters who mention about 3 possible candidates who combined have a 0% chance of coming here because they don’t know any college coaches they don’t see on ESPN highlights in late March.

There is one simple way to look at this. MBB at LSU will probably always be marginally profitable at a minimum as long as the media rights revenue share is equal. What will make more than marginally profitable is excitement that creates direct revenue through ticket and merchandise sales. This also generates more NIL opportunities to offer players, which leads to better recruiting.
If you crunch the numbers with firing McMahon and staff, you end up breaking even or being slightly in the red without generating more direct revenue. It would be nearly impossible not to generate more direct revenue by simply firing McMahon. I can't think of a coach they could hire who wouldn't be a welcome replacement for McMahon, maybe ULL's old coach, Bob Marlin?
