There’s nothing you can tell him. A lot of the “screw basketball” fans never stepped foot inside an LSU classroom. I’m not saying every LSU fan needed to attend LSU, but if you attended LSU, you want LSU to succeed, regardless of particular interest in any sport or endeavor. Most display none of that.

I’ve also have talked the last few weeks about how Bama MBB has gone from where we are now to making 4-5x the profit in MBB over the course of a few years. They’re not interested in educating themselves. They have an opinion - and as flawed and erroneous as it is - they’re sticking with it. It’s the purest sign of intelligence.

Ignoring actual facts is their specialty. You could tattoo them with verifiable facts and they would still side with their misinformed opinion. It's actually sad. LSU MBB isn't some important worldly thing, but imagine going through life like that and how much more difficult it makes it on the rest of us.

This isn't like getting fired as a cook at Red Lobster and proclaiming "no way in HELL I'm going back there, by golly!!"

This is a major college hiring for a major sport. With all of the idiots gone that blocked his return a year ago. At a school where the fan base is begging for his return, Wade being familiar with the school and boosters.

You might want to project where each school will be financially in the near future as well. It would be miraculous if NC state was anywhere near as competitive financially as LSU shortly.

Your knee jerk reaction "I ain't nevah going back to this bitch" doesn't apply in situations like this.

If Schroyer lands at LSU, we have a great chance.
