You’re classless trash. Go fix the antenna on your trailer so you can beat it to infomercials and spare us your single digit IQ takes.

Ah yes, the retard who thinks winning causes your program to lose money. Please, enlighten me lol.

I’ve forgotten more LSU basketball than you’ll ever know.

No, the administration did that when they fired him.

The amount of energy wasted talking about this idiot of a coach, WW coming back, is amazing. LSU is not wasting more money on another buyout. Have McMahon retool his staff and give him more NIL money for better players.
IMO if Reid and Thomas had not gotten injured, LSU would be a 500 club in the SEC.
McMahon is a joke and brings no energy to this program. Anyone backing him is just full of BS excuses but are the first to point fingers at the previous coach that could actually get us to the tournament every year.

It’s too bad we’ve lost the excitement Wade brought to the program. But paying players is wrong and we have never and will never do that at LSU.
Oh wait.
Oh wait.

At least they'd be better off than where they are now without Reid and Thomas.

Most people would prefer to live in Raleigh than Baton Rouge. I think he means it.

It has little to do with Woodward and how LSU marched him out. His statement says it all, NC invests in its basketball program. LSU is maintaining a top-dollar football program and trying to keep baseball (among other sports) fed enough to stay relevant. We'll truly be lucky if we don't lose JJ to the majors next year, so I think its going to be interesting to see how they balance out trying to keep him interested and trying to land a basketball coach that has some potential.

Damn. Is Jay that fed up with the NIL era? I had him penciled in until his retirement

When the next conference realignment occurs around 2030 (TV contracts are renegotiated in 2033), LSU will be receiving north of $100 MILLION per year in SEC revenue distributions, and possibly substantially more.
NC st (in whatever bullshite conference they end up in), will be receiving in the neighborhood of $20 million annually.
"How do you know that Tigahlovah? You're full of prune juice."
Read the tea leaves. First and foremost, I'm not sure a future world exists where LSU is not competing at the top level of collegiate athletics. Especially in the 2 major sports.
On to the Wolfpack. They're facing (in the very near future), being in a watered down ACC. The kind of ACC without UNC, UVA, Clemson, Florida st, and possibly Duke and Georgia Tech. The ACC has a deal through 2036 that keeps all the broadcast rights for member schools with the conference. BUT, as part of the lawsuit settlement between the ACC, Clemson, and Florida st, it becomes more affordable each year for a school to leave the ACC, because the exit fee drops substantially after each season.
So the NC state options will be:
1) Compete in an ACC that will have PEANUTS as a yearly distribution.
2) Switch to a Conference USA or Sun Belt that would be even worse.
3) Become an Independent, and GOOD LUCK with that.
4) Possibly moving to the Big East and going all in on basketball. (This could also be a move for a school like Syracluse). This might be their best move to accommodate Wade, but they would still be making a fraction of what LSU will be.
So we will see how much NC st will be able to stay competitive with LSU.
Considering all of this, which situation is better for Wade? Especially with Patton Oswalt's retarded little sister REMOVED from the AD office? And with several Wade allies in place, including the governor of the state?

I doubt it, but all factors in when you are approached to take the next step. Look at the spending on baseball and its percentage of NIL.
