No we didnt. We self imposed 2 scholarships over 2 years (1 each year. We only had 12 on scholarship this past season with Hunter Dean being a walk on, not scholarship player.

It's been confirmed by multiple outlets that LSU carried 13 scholarship players this year.

Don’t forget that our noses were in the air regarding Kelvin Sampson too …… I mean, who would want that cheater?? ….. I’m so glad LSU hires these basketball coaches for their strait laced ness ……. Will Wade made his own bed. Wade did claim in an interview with Jacques Doucet that he thought that there was probably a ceiling for LSU basketball given the nature of facilities and administrative support for men’s basketball. That we could have good role players but LSU wasn’t getting a handful of McDonald’s all -Americans.

I'm saying Wade has been coaching 10 seasons now and has not coached in a tornament game beyond the round of 32.
He was at LSU for 5 seasons. Admittedly, he was robbed of the opportunity with the 2018-2019 team by Alleva. But As of now, he has never been the acting coach on a team that made it beyond the second game of the CIT, NIT, or NCAA tournament. And with the exception of winning the Southland conference tournament, he has not won a conference tournament.
He's come in first in the SEC regular season once and tied for 1st in the A-10 once at VCU.
People who act as though Wade was the greatest coach ever are being just as dumb as people who act like he wasn't a good coach.
He needs to prove himself in ahhigher league to be more than a good coach who couldn't quite get over the hump. And he may very well do that.
