I'm thinking, "Uh Oh!" and out of nowhere KV5 shows up and nabs the INT like Lootie after a hurricane!
A thing of beauty!

Good recovery. Just glad Hurts put too much air under the ball.

The throw was actually on point and was where it needed to be. The play was pretty well executed. The design just didnt account for Vincent's speed

Exactly that play was made bc KV5 has WORLD CLASS speed.

We’ve expected a lot from him and have been disappointed since he’s the weak link in the slot.

Good on him for balling out there. That’s a tough catch too at his angle/speed

it looked like Vincent dropped back into coverage on the play and might have not even seen the trick part of the play. I think once he completed his drop he turned around in time to see Hurts launch a lazy floater and broke on it with ease.

As Cody Worsham pointed out on Twitter, Vincent was deep because Delpit sent him deep pre-snap when the receiver went in motion.

Awesome play by Vincent, but Delpits awareness set it up and saved us a TD.

Watching it reinforced Delpit's value to the team and showed why he was still on the field when hurt.

It was a double reverse pass. It was great discipline by Kary to stay in centerfield and it was a great pass by Hurts, his problem was that Kary is an actual track star.

Don’t take credit away from that badass play

Vincent has top notch speed. That is what ruined the play for OU. It was a great throw and maybe the receiver could have grabbed it at an earlier point

Exactly.

Had the intended receiver had been Lamb, Marshall, Chase or Jefferson - that pass is snatched out of the air for a successful completion. Hurts’ pass was fine - the intended receiver simply had no awareness that it was gonna be a contested catch.

Kary Vincent has been the most improved player on defense as this season has progressed. He was big in big games. I hope we can get one more from him.

With Vincent’s momentum and the way he launched and turned his body I don’t think any receiver would have snatched that one. A more aggressive receiver may have attempted to high point but they would still have been displaced when ball arrived.

Vincent needs to give up track work all summer oh his technique and ball skills . He has the natural speed he can out run everyone he needs to be coached up .

Vincent has been ridiculously undervalued by LSU fans, and this is a great example. He has NOT been a weak link in the slot. Vincent would be starting for almost every team in the country. He's been great this year, a good tackler, excellent in pass coverage, and the fastest guy on the field. He and Chaisson are this year's two Jalens.

If you watch the play from the very begining you can see Delpit tell him to get in position. He was out of position and Delpit told him to get deeper.

It actually wasn't. If you watch the replay, it was almost blown up in the backfield. It took way too long to develop, which led to it almost being stopped for a loss and it also gave time for Vincent to recover, adjust and end up making the play on the throw. Even the announcers made note of how long it took to develop and that it was almost a tackle for loss.

Wrong! Floater, lame duck, late and a easy pick for a great safety.

The ground that he covered was impressive, I was at the game and have not watched reply yet but im pretty sure he was center field..... That is speed is what you need at FS. I would love his back there permanently
