ESPN FPI Defense rating of 51.2 during his 6 years as Toledo DC. The six years prior to his arriving is a 51.5. Seems to be living heavily off of this year which is obviously his best. We can and should do better.

He is from the town I live in. Coached with his Dad and then as HC of Mount Union. Great family and he has paid his dues.

I don’t pay any attention to D3 football. I knew that Mount Union was a team that was regularly in the title game but that’s it. Didn’t realize what a powerhouse it was. Go look at their history of seasons…
They’ve only lost 2 non-playoff games in over 30 years, since 1994. Wtf! How the hell does that much disparity exist between them and the rest of the teams at the D3 level
