It may sound crazy but I don't think there will be much of a drop off next year. We have 2/3 of our starters comin back (Nola, Glenn) , then over half of our line up ( McMullen, laird, breg, Ibarra, Ross " foster/Moore/Stevenson "). Chinea an barash could step in. Russel Reynolds looked very good before injury could be our 3 him or the Cune. I'm not even goin to comment on freshman until there on campus but I'm already liking next years team pre season top 5 depending on finish definatly top ten imo

I know his first name. I'm just not liking it next to our starters.

I don't think you can factor Reynolds in at this point either.

We'll have great depth in the lineup even if we lose a few signees. There will be a lot of options to play matchups, play the hot hitters, etc.

There will also be a lot of options on the mound and some big, projectable arms. We'll just need who ever ends up in the bullpen to be consistent.

I'm more worried about our bullpen than anything. Losing Cotton, Bourgeios, Bonvillain, and possibly Rumbelow. Those are some big losses

yeah it was easier just to use the current roster since we don't know who will be on campus. I'm sure Ibarra will be at 3rd again and not 2nd but with the current players, 2nd is my projection

I'm hoping our Sunday pitcher isn't on campus yet. I really don't see Moore playing anything other than his current role. I also am not sold on Stevenson learning how to hit. I'd like to see Barash develop into our catcher.

I'm more confident in Joe Broussard coming back from injury for a weekend spot than Russell Reynolds at this point. I'm not so sure he will be ready for the start of next season.
