Vandy is a trap game

They’ve played P5 schools all three weeks. At home with an early start and desperate for a win. Can’t really imagine us losing but a nice test for this team - if we take care of business from the jump it’s a great sign of our teams mental toughness and professionalism.
I have a feeling it will be closer than expected and Vandy covers. Prediction is 34-17 LSU but nothing would surprise me next week.

First off, they've only played 2 games total.
Second off, coming off of Northwestern and being the SEC opener, this isn't a trap game. What a stupid thread.

Northwestern was the predictable let down game and even then, that was for one quarter.
Vanderbilt will put up a fight, we will win though. I haven’t felt this good about an LSU team since 2011. 45-14 LSU.

Every road game presents a little greater challenge. Georgia beat the 30 to 3.
Our defense has to,get better. Yes we lost Devin White. But he was not really a coverage guy.

It will be a defacto home game. Huge amounts of LSU people in Metro Nashville/Atlanta. Vandy's fan base is like Tulane. Green Hills and Belle Meade snobs.

Hannigrif highlighted last night that they’ve had some weird games with an 11am start in Nashville over the years. Missed extra points..Phantom holding calls...Blocked punts. Cecil Collins had that season ended injury in one of these games. Some weird Voodoo type shite.
