Valentine remains off the field due to 'personal issues'

According to sources around LSU, Valentine continues to experience a myriad of "personal issues," that continue to plague his collegiate playing career and may keep him off the field this entire spring. Media members that filled the sidelines at LSU's first padded practice on Saturday in hopes of catching a glimpse of Valentine's much-anticipated debut quickly noticed that he was missing, again.

Miles said there were things they wanted Valentine to do academically that he wasn't getting done - pretty clear why he isn't at spring ball. Not sure if that qualifies as "personal" issues, but it seems the writer could have been more specific.

This sucks for the School and coaches that put so much effort on certain players and they can't even manage to do their part to get eligible.
