Maybe so many fans shouldnt have over hyped the shite out of a guy based on a few message board quotes from players from a few years back. Kid hadn't played a game yet and people were wanting to put him on the all American watch list

Well the fans on this board get into a sheep mentality and hype up a player they've never seen play based on rumors and word of mouth.
LSU fans tend to whip themselves into a frenzy on this board.
Nothing unexpected.

His play on the field has never been an issue

All a smoke screen so saban doesn't game plan for him . Lol

Maybe that explains why he was kicked off to begin with. Some people have very little self control. Looks like he is one of those. He is a head case.

What an unbelievable disappointed he has been since he was allowed back on the team

Crazy how fast people have just given up on him. Really stupid because you know what's gonna happen: he's gonna work his way back to being in the good graces of the staff and back to 1st team and everyone'll be back to supporting him.

He has never really impressed me....he takes up a lot of space on the field but he seems slow on the field also

maybe he was getting whipped by boutte and his pride flared up. may be a good thing.
Wouldn't be a good thing if he was in the game and were to get a 15 yard penalty thrown on him.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him on the field this week.

How is it possible that he is not laser focused given what he had to do to get back in the program? He had to keep his head down for roughly 6 mos. and the payoff was becoming a millionaire.
You can't fix stupid!

Yep, he's been a problem, but if he's still on the team it means Coach O hasn't given up on him. All the judgmental geniuses on this board are ready to give up on him before Coach O is tells me all I need to know about some of there SA posters here.

not letting it go and moving on when he should have. Whatever, I still want to see him on the field

You know what is going to happen, not that!!!
He has 4 games to work his way back into the good graces of coaches, are you taking bets on that!!!

The tiger rant sure did seem to want him back

He's THE prototypical 3-4 defensive tackle. You don't give up on him unless he's turns criminal or can't qualify.
Posted on 11/2/16 at 10:16 am to Dudebro2
not surprising at all, given his history.
Guys who've screwed up numerous times and places don't magically flip a switch and become model citizens. Sometimes they do, but not very often.
Like I said, this is unfortunate for all involved, but not a surprise.

I remember people saying he was the key to the season lol
Well honestly, he could be.
We could really use his size and the depth against Bama, Arkansas, Florida, and A&M.
Our DL was getting pushed around at the end of last year.

Yes I agree his size and physical attributes make him the prototypical DT for a 3-4 alignment. But it ain't his physical attributes that are stopping him, it is what is between his ears or lack of that is stopping him!!!
Again you can't fix stupid and TV is just been the epitome of STUPID since he walked onto the LSU campus some 3 years ago!

meanwhile Greg Gilmore gave Boute a shoulder rub mid play.
