Already better than last season. Felt like a bit of a gamble to start Cellura and not Montecelli but it proved to be a brilliant decision.

Hitting was amazing in this game. Va Tech has two really good pitchers, but even when we made outs the ball was hit hard and Tech had to make amazing catches just to keep this game from not being a run rule in 5 innings.
I'm just leaving the game so I haven't really noticed the "Championship Fan" because I am in the outfield or walking around, so this was better than watching on TV.
Need one more tomorrow. I hope the team doesn't relax because Tech is a very good team. Here's hoping Tech loses tonight and we don't have to see them again.

I believe I’m the 17th post in this thread, about 30 min after the game ended in a run rule. Had we lost, this would’ve been 15 pages long right now all about fire Beth.
I’m not taking a stance on Beth’s job, I’m just pointing out that losing generates a shite ton more buzz than winning. If we win it’s “who cares, it’s softball” but if we lose “the standard for LSU is to win at every sport!” It’s an interesting view from a psychology standpoint.
