That final score is deceptive, as Utah State was in control and led 23-3 midway through the 3rd.
And San Diego State is a good team. They were at home and previously had routed UCLA and New Mexico State on the road.

To be fair, the defense gave up 24. The offense gave up the other 14. If you look closely at the first half drives by Vandy, the defense was actually really good. I agree they need work, but the defense is not as bad as everyone thinks it is.

Utah State has probably the third best QB we will face in the regular season this year, maybe fourth. I'd put Tua, Ehlinger, and possibly Mond ahead of him. They have a decent offense and can present some problems if we don't tackle well. That said, we're going to drop about 55 on them on offense, so ... bring on Florida.
