OK, i heard that they are flying Joe Alleva to Columbia.

Him and Ray Tanner are gonna have an arm wrestling match and the best out of 7 gets the home game.

Game remains in Columbia.

Wouldn't it potentially be easier to move it to the superdome than LSU?

Dude - the superdome is too small.

About the size of SC's stadium.

Gordy Rush, the vice president and marketing manager for Guaranty Broadcasting and the team’s sideline reporter, said on local radio Tuesday that one of the options is for LSU to fly into Columbia the day of the game, play the game and then fly out. The game time of 11 a.m. CT would be moved to later in the day to accommodate this

What if it was in BR and LSU just let all parking be first come first serve.....it'd be fun to watch the fights

Would be chaos. I would park my car as soon as they announced it and walk to class for the rest of the week.

don't like the idea of playing an important game the same day you fly in..

What time are they giving the groups?

11 am. She said the call was just preliminary info in case the game is moved to Tiger Stadium. She got the call yesterday afternoon.

This comes from a friend in a church group who has worked LSU games for years.

I can't imagine LSU would allow that to happen.

Ehh, LSU is not going to be able to put 100k butts in the seats on three days notice. I'd be shocked if they could get more than 70-80k there for the game, just from a sheer logistical standpoint, if nothing else.

Of course they are. However that doesn't mean that it's going to be here. It's a precautionary measure.

Starting prep is just the right thing to do with there being a real possibility of the move. Doesn't mean it's been decided.

With respect to parking passes. Couldn't they just let you use the one for the Florida game twice? Have the attendants use a marker or stamp of some sort for this game to mark it as being used instead of tearing off the perforated tab and then use the pass as normal for the Florida game and tear off the tab.

Same with my source and he is saying the game would be at 6 pm.
