Looks like a basement

The more you renovate this stuff the more it loses its charm and becomes a generic nfl stadium. Good god. We’re going to a football game not a gala.

Kyle field is a shell of a it’s former self now but yes it is “pretty”. Completely stale now. Almost all of these major renovations like that kill any kind of intimidating atmosphere the place had. No thanks.

I don’t know how any self respecting Tiger fan could refer to Dan Borne as “the play by play announcer” or “the guy.”

Ditto. He’s responsible for more than a few of our traditions just by himself. But that’s typical of a new generation. Don’t give a shite about what came before you.

Actually, reducing the size of the stadium is not a bad idea. Our West and East wings are ridiculous and should be cut in half. Hell, give the people who sit up there a chance at some students tickets under the SEZ scoreboard who never show up or leave at HT. Add another row of suites on the East and West wings and you make money. I honestly think this is where we are going in the future anyway, we can get ahead of the curve. Or I'm an idiot......could be a toss up. Agree with concessions, bathrooms and concourse arguments but those are glaringly obvious.

Why do we have the best food in the country and the worst concessions in the SEC
I went to the open game in the South Stadium Club and have to say I was really disappointed in the food. The Crawfish Etoufee looked (and tasted) more like cream of mushroom soup. It just was not good .... not even in the ballpark compared to the Lafayette area. Catering really needs an upgrade up there. A far cry from the "Original" stadium club from the old days.

Bathroom situation needs to be rectified. Shouldn’t take half a quarter to go to the bathroom.

New screens will come with the new north endzone expansion

I don't think we'll expand the stadium again. Attendance in cfb is declining and it's really only a capacity crowd for a few games per year.

Y'all are wrong. I've been told by a reliable source that the next improvement will be to the playing surface. You heard it here...

I have read that the south end zone speakers were initially installed but created some issues with echoes and interference from the opposite side speakers making it even more difficult to understand anything.

Yet somehow every other stadium in America has it figured out.

The sound system is just not very loud at all. We sat in the nosebleed section West 50 yard line Saturday (first time up there in the “new” uppers) and you couldn’t hear anything about the game, the music was so muffled. (I know sit in lower bowl and I normally do but I gave those tickets to my parents and just bought these outside). If there were additional speakers pointed up or at least above the screens, it might not feel so lonely up there.

The announcer sucks too. Same way it’s been my whole life, but I think he’s getting senile and certainly not loud.

Contrast this to the Saints game on Sunday - our seats were high up there, but understood every word the announcer said, the music was clear, and you had a feeling like the announcer was trying to pump up the crowd.

So yeah sound system. No need for lights since we seem to play all of our games in daylight now.

They have to add bathrooms to the 400s section in the south endzone

Bathroom lines are 10-15 minutes. Its a disgrace

Concession infrastructure is high on the priority list as well. After the Lawton Room. The way it’s set up makes it really hard for concessions (lack of a kitchen) and hard for people to walk by when there is a line.

Absolutely correct. The facilities are not there for better foods. The cooler and freezer we had to use was terrible when we cooked there

Seems they’d have to permanently close north stadium drive to do this.

Loge level at the Saints games from 2000-2010 you couldn't hear a single thing. Everything was muffled

Not sure if its still like that or not, as we have moved up to the terrace

I wish they could find a way to show the score, timeouts, down and distance in a less confusing way. I swear it takes me 30 seconds to figure anything out when looking at the scoreboard.

Ding ding ding. We have a winner! I have been saying this for a long time and is my weekly comment on the emailed post game survey. It’s like the game is just an afterthought. Arkansas scoreboard is the model to look at.

Upper south end zone restrooms are still old and antiquated. Entries are so narrow that folks going in and coming out have to squeeze thru.

In fact, the antiquated restrooms were better. When we previously had tiled troughs to piss into, you could fit at least twice as many people into the restroom and it had entries in front and an exit out the back. Now, with individual urinals and the rear exit removed, the capacity is greatly reduced and passage is very difficult.

It was the “upgrade” that screwed everything up. Used to be hardly a line at all, now the men’s restroom line is worse than the ladies.

The whole concourse/concession/bathroom situation needs to be redone. Concession stands take up too much of the concourse and are incredibly inefficient which cause massive amounts of traffic on the concourse. And going to the bathroom at halftime takes 30 mins. The line for the men’s room started at the portal inside the stadium.

Turn the entire upper level into premium boxes along with adding an upper north end zone level. Then reconfigure the lower level to be all seat back seating. This might reduce total capacity slightly but will certainly improve the game experience.
