Not surprising when he’s already broken every college record.

Why did he come to LSU for a year?

No salt, genuinely curious. Don’t know the ins and outs of track and field.

Use of facilities, train with his parents, watch his big brother play baseball, and bide time till Olympic training. We were lucky to have him.

Got it. And like the poster below you said it’s nice to see LSU attached to a bunch of records now

Yea pretty much LSU lucked out that there was that year built into the calendar where he could afford to focus on doing what he did. He didn’t really lose anything other than a couple hundred thousand in sponsorship money.

It was nice to have him at LSU. I'm glad the national championship was won by an American, though. Good luck to Sweden in the Olympics.

I wish nothing but the best! I know pole vaulting is super difficult and he accomplished a lot at LSU, I just wish he was able to win a natty last week. Watching him finish second was tough and I felt bad for the kid.

This would be sweeter if he were going to win gold medals for the USA.....it's a little bittersweet that he will be competing for Sweden.
