Weakness of the AD doesn’t negate his coaching to get ncaa tournament bids

He cheated like a dumbass and deserved to get caught. Yes, I get he was fun and won some but as soon as he let some bitch start extorting him he was done IMO.

Wades teams weren’t coached very well

This is literally only thought to be true by the total morons of the rant.

Those same idiots were gushing over how McMahon runs a "real offense." That same "real offense" isn't scoring 50 in games.

I'm someone who loves Wade, but understands the firing. I also thought MM was a solid hire, and I'm not jumping off the ledge with him anytime soon.

Personally I think Scott got a call from Emmert telling him to fire Wade or else. I do not think CMM was a bad hire at all, he will be good in the long term. I was as big a Wade fan as anyone on here. It sucks, but please …………. Can we move on?

I wish the basketball programs biggest problem was who would coach them in the NCAA tournament this season.

When you have both Pirate King and First Cut in a thread bitching about a coach, you know he was a good one. Anybody who they felt threatened by, because they were a better coach than their beloved Orgeron, they hated.

Wades coached all but one regular season game for 2018-2019 and every game until the tournament last year.

His coaching resulted in them receiving ncaa tournament bids. Regardless of what they did in the tournament

You can't compare women's basketball and Men's baseball to Men's basketball. At least not if you are looking at comparative revenue. And don't tell me that Pmac is empty and Alex Box is full. On campus ticket sales are nothing compared to tv money.

Btw I was also told CWW would not rule out ever returning to LSU but Scott would have to make some SERIOUS amends for that to happen, or there be a different AD.

Ok let’s get rid of the person who hired Kelly, Mulkey, amd Johnson just to bring back WW. LOL

Yep that’s the problem with the wade haters. They hurt their argument by lacking any objectivity.

If they said that the ncaa situation had gotten too toxic so for the ultimate good of the department as a whole and the program long term Woodward did what he had to do I can buy that. But they don’t. They try to make this myth that wade sucked.

It's because you are talking to people who think offense in basketball works like this:

- player A throws to player B.
- player C screens for player D
- player B throws it to player D for a layup.

Just like they draw it up for their 8 year old biddy teams. And if you aren't running those plays, you aren't running a real offense.

They can't comprehend that even at decent level of high school basketball that's not how it works at all.

I was around for the two runs under Brady and watched the end of dales years.

2006 was awesome but the program only had momentum under wade.

You can’t build a fan base on one run and then not make the NIT the next year. Same after the 2000 season.

LSU fans can fill the pmac with a winner but it takes consistently winning to build that awareness.
