I dont think Mayers will ever suddenly have decent control. He's always been this way. His pitching motion/release point made it near impossible to have good control
Keeps hitters really unsettled though because no idea if that mid 90s fastball is coming to hit them or not at any point

He threw something at 90 mph one at bat that ran down and in to a righty. Not sure if it’s a weird change up or a 2 seam. Also has a slider i believe

Hasn't given up a hit through 5 innings, and has 10 K's
This was definitely one his best outings since his first one where he didnt actually give away a free pass.
