I’ve spent many weekends in Hot Springs visiting relatives and almost always wore LSU gear. Never had any negative interactions. If I was talking to a local Hogs fan in a store or restaurant, we’d usually bond over a common hatred of Alabama.

Location, location, location… not all places in Louisiana and Arkansas are the same. Fayetteville isn’t equal to Shreveport, but Mandeville isn’t equal to Helena, Arkansas. Arkansas is a beautiful, but poor state overall.

I got threatened to be fed to the lions in the middle of a Christian play in Eureka Springs once by a character in the middle of the play, because he saw my LSU cap in the audience. Said something about I'm in hog country. It was all in good fun. Everyone had a good laugh

I live in Lafayette and am a member of the Lafayette Rotary Club. There are way more LSU fans here than Ragin Cajuns. I’d say 70 percent LSU

They look pretty good this year but have never won anything historically. Pretty typical reaction when playing a team that has consistently been very good and has won it multiple times.Pigs playing well is good for the SEC.

I think what other fans may not realize is generally Arkansas fans can’t stand any other fanbase that isn’t Arkansas. It’s why fans claim we have 3-4 super bowls every year

I hate Arkansas. Within seconds I have already received work emails rubbing it in and text messages. Zero class fan base.
