This is not saying much but you have to agree ULL is a little bit smarter than ULM. ULL tricked ULM in agreeing to the name change, while the whole time ULL knew they were going to drop the last L so they could be University of Louisiana.
The Cajuns got one over on the Rednecks up north in that whole deal.

Louisiana Tech is #2 in the state way before ULL is. Tech has way more of a history of athletic success and better academics then ULL.

UL is R1, like LSU, with an endowment of $230 million. Tech is R2 (like Southern), and has half the endowment.

Dumb… I’m from the Lafayette area and most of my family and friends are LSU fans but support both schools. Dang sure don’t pull for Bama.
I’ll never understand why a small demographic of LSU fans care so much.
I know very few UL fans that care.
I pull for both schools and fly both flags. I also prefer “USL” over “UL”. Funny that some of you think this is an insult.
