They need to send Chavis and the D a gift basket. We just kick-started the TJ Yates for Heisman campaign.

PS

At least Brantley is # 97

I'm dumb enough to know LSU only passed for 51 yds when we were up by 20 pts

9 yds when we we up by only 13

And ZERO yds when we were up by only 6

FACE IT, coaches have little faith in our QB to deliver the ball.

Actually, 3 of LSU's first 4 plays after going up by 20 were passing plays to end the half.....then they came out and passed on the first play of the second half and Ridley fumbled at the UNC 15 yard line 2 plays later after picking up a 1st down. After UNC scored to make it 30-17....LSU came out and threw on 1st down before 2 penalties killed that drive. The first time LSU got possession after going down by 6 (after the onside kick that UNC recovered and eventually turned it back over to LSU), there was 1:29 left on the clock.....and they did what every HC and OC in America would have done ....run the ball.....and they had the 1st down.....game over....except that Ridley fumbled again.

You should have just stopped at "I'm dumb enough"

You could have just said "They dont trust Jefferson to throw the ball"

It would have been a quicker read

Yates took advantage of an EXTREMELY young secondary, especially when Peterson has to sit on sideline and rest cause he is winded from doing PR/KR.

He was every bit the senior leader that he was suppose to be yesterday making the right reads, throws, and going through progressions. If he continues that all season then he will have a really good season and a down team.

Dude, if you do not think that the lack of offensive production from one Jefferson-led LSU team, did not effect the stamina of the defense, then he's right

Go back to creating JJ appreciation threads. You have lost contact with all reality!

Yes but they did not play LSU. With the Chavis defense anyone has a chance to be rated the #QB in college football! Every QB seems to have their breakout game against LSU.

So your solution is replace QB with 75%cr with what?
You have tunnel vision on the QB.
2 fumbles inside the 30 would've made score 44-24.
Would you still be bitchin bout QB?

Our longest drive was 30 yds? Even when we were up by 20. PP won this game, not JJ

Well you finally said something I agree with. THAT would have been a quicker read. Unfortunately, it would not have been the point I was trying to make. It would have been the opinion you are trying to get everybody to agree with. Sorry if the long factual posts are too much for your comrehension, imbecile.

that list just shows total passing yards. not an effective way to determine who the best qb is. where is the qb rating ranking?

on that list you would find tj yates 32nd and jj 38th. other notables are #1 tyler russell of miss state, #5 cameron newton, #8 mcelroy, and #11 mallett. qb rating takes much more into account and is a more accurate judge of a qb's overall game.

LOL. Qb rating is awesome when you throw the ball 4 yards on 3 and 10...

No, it isn't. Yates moved his team, JJ did not. The rankings verify this, the rating does not.

Our longest drive last night was 30 yards, ending in a TD. We never put together another long drive. The 78 ranking for JJ is spot on, not 38th.
