Have you ever coached anything? Never said JR would become a Star(he was in college), I am smarter than trying to project NFL success.

Very strong resemblance to the first game last year and probably similar season results.

What the hell are you taking about? I never said JR would be a star (in the NFL)? That is what you were implying.

Since I was not on here during his LSU playing days, I started posting that JR wasnt good enough to be the #1 draft. You argued constantly

ergo, you're not good at player assessment.

I am right (once again) about JJ. Not the JLee has proven to be better, but JJ is mediocre at best. And our offense will never move up and down the field with him.

don't forget the pick that really hurts a players passer rating and that pick well it was a bad decision but it was late in the half and it didn't lead to anything.

QB play was the difference in the second half. One acceled - one went flat. the learning curve is not going up for JJ. There was certainly a point in last night's game that Lee could have been used to try and stoke a spark. We have too much talent in skill positions to not be able to get the ball to those guys. The end arounds to Sheppard will become predictable unless we find siound balance in the O

As a high school coach(7 of the past 9 years), I've helped develop football players that have earned scholarships at North Dakota State, University of Northern Iowa, University of South Dakota, and a ton of Division II players. We've also sent a number of players to Division III schools like St. John's MN, whose coach has won games than anyone coaching football on any level.

How about you? What type of coaching, talent evaluation background do you have?

Thats what happens when you accuse someone of not knowing football without knowing their background.

Hardwood, you sound like you like to puff yourself up with the amount of small school products you've coached. If you were worth your salt you'd ahve some big school production.

What I really do not understand is that LSU really has only 2 available qbs this season - JJ and Lee. Yet, the genius Crowton insists on calling the stupid option which inevitably leads to JJ running up the middle of the field. By the middle of the season, those calling for a qb change will get their wish, because the odds are that JJ will be hurt by then.

Why do we say he threw for 400 yards end of story no discussion when almost half of them came on 2 plays on 2 blown coverages?!?! We then bash our own team trying to take away there 2 big plays and say how we wouldve sucked even more on O without them! If your trying to look at the game atleast do it with a level head and compare apples to apples and not apples to oranges!

Considering JJ was facing a depleted team, Yates supposedly an SEC squad

You can't really be this stupid.......comparing the passing yardage of QB that had a 20 point lead and was only asked to manage the game for most of the 2nd half against a QB who was forced to throw 46 times because of the 20 point deficit and a rushing attack that managed 24 yards on 33 attempts?

first of all bayou, robbboob accused me of not knowing how to evaluate athletic ability. if you search my background, i've never mentioned to the extent of my coaching background.

second, for the size of our community and school, we've overachieved in what our kids have been able to achieve and we are proud of that, regardless of what level they move on to.

But a much tougher schedule. I am hoping for 7-5 after watching that debacle. Doubt #7 is going to see many more punts coming hus way.

I'm dumb enough to know LSU only passed for 51 yds when we were up by 20 pts

9 yds when we we up by only 13

And ZERO yds when we were up by only 6

FACE IT, coaches have little faith in our QB to deliver the ball.
