The reason for the ambush at B-Quik - that's a known location for police on duty to hang out and visit.

Flat wooden with curved grip. Got mine at Red Stick Farmer's Market/Craft Fair many rouxs ago.
Haven't been in a while, but the rabbit was excellent.
Nice polo is fine - pretty laid back place.

My brother has been on a strict no-carb diet. You can't use balsamic vinegar because it contains sugars. Sounded crazy to me.
Homemade balsamic vinaigrette always in my fridge!
I'm great! Decided to check back in with TD.
I just spent July 4th weekend with that same virus, thus the soup recommendation that brought me through.

Where to watch baseball game tonight?
Posted by GRITSBabe on 5/2/14 at 12:35 pm
Baton Rouge Cox subscribers, what local food & drink establishments are showing the game tonight? I really don't want to impose on my AT&T Uverse friends.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Reheated turkey and sausage gumbo, with long grain rice and French bread. No bell peppers, but plenty of celery.
Thanks! I'll bookmark so I don't have to bug you again. Will definitely try it next time.
Thanks! My gumbo sans bell pepper was pretty tasty.

Omitting the celery is almost as heinous as adding tomato!

Try the oven method next time.
Remind me - What's your technique? I've read it but don't remember it.
Big fan of the molten lava cake at Flemings. Cheesecake Bistro is always a fun choice.

Sweated over a roux for an hour. Missed the first half of the SECCG.

Well, okay.
I don't think Baton Rouge is THAT bad, but then, I'm old. I prefer to stay home, cook gumbo and drink wine.
Did anyone else see what Finebaum did in the Game Day interview?
Posted by GRITSBabe on 12/7/13 at 9:36 am
"Say Auburn BLOWS.....long pause....out Missouri in the SECCG.."
:rotflmao:
So funny to see him so bitter and having to say something nice.
:wah:
Then the Gameday Crew- "He's not playing Russian roulette. He just can't hear over the Auburn band."
Too funny
