it's a much better analysis than yards passing. a guy playing from behind by 20 points in the 4th quarter is going to throw every play down the field. that is what happened last night when yates put up 261 yards in the last 10 minutes of the game. jj did nothing to put us in danger in that game. we should have taken advantage of some opportunities we had, but he only took us out of one scoring opportunity. ridley took us out of one and t bob hebert crushed us with his holding.

I'm not sure what you're calling a "drive," but we had touchdowns that each went for about 50 yards. I agree that our lack of sustained drives is very concerning, but to disregard those 2 quick strikes is disingenious at best. But I think we all know your tired arse schtick by now. In all your time here, have you made one--just fricking one--post that was not ragging a black LSU QB while pumping up his white counterpart? JJ is to blame for tiring out our defense? Just FYI, any reply to RobbRobb is just a waste of 10-20 seconds of your life. There's literally no point in attempting a logical debate with him regarding the QB situation.

the 78 ranking is based solely on passing yards. a lot more goes into account. jj's ranking as of now is higher than last year by 20 points. his main issue was taking sacks and he did show some improvement there. he did take a long time to work through progressions, but he did a much better job of getting out of the pocket and making better decisions. easy to pick on a qb, but honestly he did not make the blunt of the mistakes. the defense fell apart and no rb could finish the game off by making first downs and holding on to the football.

Yates is ranked 30th in QB rankings. JJ is ranked 36th. Not much of a difference.

97 of those yards came on one busted coverage by all-american candidate (if you paid attention to this board) Morris Claiborne.
Face it, playcalling on both sides of the ball is why the game was what it was.

I would love to see Rohan Davey throwing to this crop of wide receivers. It is not a racist issue, so quit trying to make it one.
It appears to me that the JJ defenders resort to the racist card when they have no other way to support his performance. The JJ defense:
(a) he is only 19-oops, he is 20
(b) the OL sucks-not so fast...pretty damn good protection
(c) no running game support-not what the stats say
(d) he is still in his first season starting-gone
(e) look at his % completion rate-maybe the best shot, but 3 yard drag routes and dump passes on 3rd and 8 make this stat pretty useless. How many sustained drives again?
