There is an abnormal abundance of LSU hate among UL fans in general. I don't think many LSU fans really care either way about them

^This. LSU fans have np pulling for ULL when they're not playing LSU.

ULL fans would wave Little Red Books and shout "GO Commies!" if LSU was playing Red China.

the least LSU would win by would be 21. Isn't that worst case scenario?

So, we agree?

If everything goes wrong, LSU wins by 21.

On an average day, LSU wins by 38-51. Right?

Favorite post of the thread from a poster......

"Easy, Nostradamus.

Last upset you picked, Okie State tore us a new one. As a matter of fact, I think they just scored again. "

I hope this guy is on TD. Sounds like he would fit in good here

Well..I said LSU would win by AT LEAST 21, then this guy tears into me saying I'm overestimating UL-Lafayette's chances blah blah 21 is the worst case for LSU. Which is pretty much what was implied by the phrase "by at least 21"

ULL averages around in the 90's in recruiting classes, and 3 stars are considered gems.

14-17 points is LSU coming out flat, putting up 63, and playing it's practice squad.

Hell, we came out flat against Ole Miss

I'm not sure cause your QB throws 3 ints in the 1st half that equates to the team coming out flat.

We outscored our UL@L like teams this past season 55-10 in the 1st quarter. In 2012 we outscored UL@L like teams 49-3 in the 1st quarter. I don't think I have to say anything bout the 2011 season.

Every top program in the nation has struggles vs. teams they shouldn't at times, but I don't see anything pointing out a more serious problem at LSU than the others. imo

ull is getting bigger , stronger , faster ,they broke the top 100 in recruiting this year...

ull finished #100 on rivals team rankings with 2 3 star players...

gtfo

if lsu took a game against ull on their football field and took the game seriously and didn't call off the dogs , ull couldn't stop lsu from putting up 100 on them...fact...

While I can understand why some Cajun fans have bruised feeling about past politics that may have helped LSU over most of the smaller schools in the state (understandable, in most case, I feel), I don't understand the vitriol toward LSU.

Oddly enough, after having participated in this thread earlier today, I ran into a ULL graduate here at a school in Texas where I'm a current graduate student. She parked next to me in the parking lot and as we walked towards the buildings I asked if she was from Lafayette after seeing a Ragin' Cajuns sticker on her ride. Exchanged pleasantries, I said I was from near Baton Rouge and attended LSU for undergrad. Her response to me was "sell out." I said "oh, you're one of those," and asked her how I was a sell out. She explained that she feels that ULL is just as good of a school as LSU, but LSU charges too much. I nicely told her that that's what happens when you make improvements at a school, and said LSU is better now than when I was there. Pretty much ended the conversation with that.

What a count, and sadly an unattractive one at that.

So if a Tiger fan lives in Lafayette, are they still an Affliction wearing douche ? Just wondering.

I just checked my custom appointed 6 rack , 700 sq ft closet and I can't find any of those shirts... Weird.

I always laugh when I read that the SLI/USL/ULLLLL bulldogs/red hot chilli peppers/ragin cajuns fans are dying for a shot at LSU. They have yet to sell out their ticket allotment for any of the games played todate. 45-50 minutes away. Out of all the state schools that have come to BR, only La. Tech has sold all its tickets. Look at the average attendance in all 3 major sports: they do not support any of their teames...admitting that baseball is decent to average, however. But they sure do talk a good game in the offseasons.

LSU would win easily, like 38-10. The talent/numbers gap between an SEC power and a Sun Belt team is just too great.

And this is coming from a Greenie who is not a fan of either LSU or USL.

I am about to graduate from ULL and can't say that i know anyone that thinks UL would beat LSU in football. I grew up a LSU sports fan and I don't understand the one sided rivalry.

I find it funny how UL-L fans bring up Alabama all the time. Is it supposed to bother me?
