ULL does not have a legit shot at beating LSU in football, Period.

I wouldn't go that far, given how LSU tends to play down to inferior competition at times. But LSU would really have to badly screw the pooch to lose to ULL.

There's no chance.

Beat a team like Arkansas or K-State or Ok St or someone before I can say there's a chance they could beat LSU.

I like ULL football, but I also realize what it is.

I am amused that the justification for the hope in their thread is that LSU's recruiting has fallen off.

Ok,I admit most people including members of my family are rational , decent ULL grads and pull for LSU when they are not playing us, but some of the idiots that post on rajin pagin are just too funny to pass up ( and yes we have idiots on TD as well)
see this post:

First off I didn't say it. I wrote it. What I wrote was that with the way Les Miles is screwing up recruiting & the way Hudspeth & his staff are making strides with recruiting on a very consistent basis now, within the next tow to three years, the Cajun football squad will be a very dangerous group for the Tiger football squad to handle. I would handicap a game between the two in three years to be tigers less than a touchdown favorite. Of course LSU will not be nearly as well renowned by then anyway.

Lots of excitement surrounding all those 2 and 3 star prospects.

Tough times here at the Flagship. Perhaps the best recruiting class in LSU's history, with another top class on the way, and Les Miles still can't recruit like Mark Hudspeth.

Didn't McNeese also skull frick ULL recently?

McNeese beat UL-L 38-17 in 2007, but that McNeese team did go 11-1 (1st round playoff loss, surprise surprise )

Finished that game taking a knee at the UL-L 17 yard line.

thinks that they are ready to take on the LSU Tigers

Just because you think you can box, doesn't mean you should call out Mike Tyson. I say let's give the bastards a good arse woopin in front of all the two dozen fans they would bring to TS.

They won't beat LSU but there is no doubt they would score TD's & make a game of it for 3 quarters. This is not your Daddy's Ragin Cajuns with Hudspeth. Dude recruits athletes.

I just had a look on the ULL vs. LSU thread on Ragin Pagin (ULL).

Don't expect any type of logical debate - it is basically personal attacks on the user rather than debating the subject - about 10 users seem to dominate that site.

No point in posting - they are all still bitter that we are the flagship!
