Why is Hurd throwing at Thompson and not towards the bag? That’s like throwing a slant route to the player instead of leading him and resulting in a pick 6

I think the kid was just overhyped. I dont think he’s as good as we all expected him to be

To be fair, he got squeezed on the the batter he walked. Looked like he struck the guy out looking on the pitch that was called ball 2.
