Vaccine mandates are also illegal in a few other SEC states, so there’s a decent chance that LSU is the only SEC stadium that requires this. Kentucky possibly as they have a democratic governor too.

It might be on an island, but when those covid numbers sky rocket in those states or someone dies watch for the bad PR those schools will get.

I live in Athens. Nothing shut down at all even during the start of covid - bars and restaurants open (closing times changed from early on) but once school started last fall everything was open. It's kinda crazy because Athens is a super blue college town but Kemp and university got things right.
They did require face masks though I should say for basketball and baseball games - for the ones I went to. But glad to see they opened everything up again leading the charge.
