Scott Walker is the DeSantis of Jefferson Parish
Posted by ChuckRhoadesSr on 8/30/21 at 10:21 pm
Clean, concise, competent, handsome and most importantly conservative. He posted on FB today with a full breakdown of the power and pumping situation. He says 90% of the parish will have power within 3 weeks but that many business and residential areas in may see power restored in the next few days. My office building and a few others already have power back. He communicated the information precisely and confidently, and I have full faith in him and Cynthia to guide Jefferson Parish through these dark times.
In fact, would like to deep throat Scott Walker tonight. If he doesn’t get sucked off tonight then no one ever should. He showed more patriotism in 1 day than biden has in 50 years on Capitol Hill. By the way, what time does our wire transfer to the taliban go through?

Robert E Lee was a fantastic American general and he should absolutely be commemorated

The $3 million dollars we could have used to help build more than 1 tower holding all the power for the entire city, we spent on tearing down and storing an inanimate object lmaoooo

Is this unprecedented? How long of a time vector for this to get fixed

I feel that a lot of people have been so nonchalant about this storm. Last time everyone watched the news this was a category 3 hitting late Sunday. Now it’s pushing a cat 5 and they won’t be up for 5-6 hours. This is spelling out to be a disaster
I need John Bel Edwards permission to evacuate tomorrow
Posted by ChuckRhoadesSr on 8/27/21 at 9:59 pm
Why, you ask? Fair question. It is because I don’t do anything without receiving direct permission from my lord and savior, My sun and moon, my governor, JBE!
Get a booster shot? You got it!
Enroll my children in CRT courses? You got it!
Wear a mask outdoors even if I’m vaccinated? Yes, give me more! I love restrictions
Whatever JBE asks me to do, I will follow through because government knows best. I love the government.
Today, I gave my 2 year old his 7th COVID booster shot. I think he’s well protected at this point but we can never really know right? I’ll just have to wait and see what JBE says.
Anyways, stay safe in the storm, I’m going to watch Stephen Colbert for the next 7 hours until JBE tells me not to anymore.

People really voted for Biden and John Bel Edwards in the same 12 month period

Lmao. Imagine doing this.
UGA will be full capacity - with no masks mandate or vaccine requirements.
Posted by ChuckRhoadesSr on 8/24/21 at 1:35 pm
LINK
Vaccine mandates are also illegal in a few other SEC states, so there’s a decent chance that LSU is the only SEC stadium that requires this. Kentucky possibly as they have a democratic governor too.

This is what y’all get. “He’s basically a Catholic” “I don’t like Vitter because he hired prosititues” “he’s basically a conservative!”
These are the consequences. Do not make the same mistake again

Logic behind masks being required for anyone under 11 years old?
Posted by ChuckRhoadesSr on 8/24/21 at 11:13 am
When literally everyone else in the stadium and within a 3 miles radius of the stadium is virtually already vaccinated? Super bizarre and likely completely unenforceable. Is a security guy going to walk between rows checking IDs of 7 year old children?
Also, I fully expect JBE to enforce a mask mandate for everyone regardless of vaccine status before the first home game. He’s halfway there, and you know he wants to do it.

And we’re still going to be required to wear masks lmao

Do you live under a rock? People are quite literally rejoicing that Jameis has won the job. I have not seen twitter this happy since Trump lost. It is so bizarre.

Imagine it is a random Fall weekend in 2019. Saints are playing the Bucs. You are excited that we are playing Jameis Winston because he is guaranteed to throw at least 2 picks against us. Even more so, you look forward to making fun of his unserious antics and pregame routines.
Fast forward two years later. Jameis Winston finally secured his spot as a starter at the end of pre-season. He barely made it past our Gadget player Taysom Hill for the starting job and you are absolutely ecstatic.
Someone please explain what happened in between these two moments that would require to change your mind so much. I find this absolutely baffling.

A 4 year starter, who was barely winning the job, if at all, after 8 weeks of camp and pre-season has finally pulled away against the 31 year old Mormon tight end. While Jameis should be the starter, I'm not excited about the fact that this race is still somewhat close if Calloway doesn't make the two most insane catches of his life. In reality, both QB's have been average through 90% of their reps in camp and in pre-season. What does it say about Jameis that this QB race has been close for so long? I don't see how anyone could feel very positive about what has transpired.
In reality all we are left with is Jameis Winston at QB (someone who we as Saints fans perpetually made fun of for being so bad the last 4 years), who has shown no signs of real improvement, Ian Book as QB #2 and a 20 pound underweight Taysom Hill now trying to find his way back to the receiver core. I would feel much better about this if one of the QB's actually played really well this entire camp and pre-season and won this job swiftly and effectively; they didn't.
I just think the dichotomy of Saints fans going from thinking Winston is hilariously bad 2 years ago to now thinking he is the second coming of Christ 2 years later because he barely beat out a tight end in a QB battle at the end of the preseason is just the most baffling thing ever.
The most realistic path to success this season is to just do what we did with Bridgewater: pound the fricking rock to oblivion and let our defense win us 9 games.

John Bell Edwards: “Rights under the Constitution are not absolute”

“Bro he’s basically a conservative!” “He’s a Catholic!”
Honestly frick all of you who voted for him over Rispone. You completely deserve what we’re getting now. Unfortunately, he may not things your rights are absolute but he believes his powers as governor are. Looking forward to LSU football being taken away. Thank you Louisiana!

Looking for a spot for tomorrow night. Have been to Coltivare, which was solid. Anything else you guys recommend? I have heard Giacomo's and Nino's are good. Thanks in advance. Ideally something that has good ambiance.
