I saw another poster comment on how classless the UGA fans were on Saturday. I was not there so I really can't speak to this. What were your experiences with UGA fans?

My experience with them on Saturday was great before and after the game.

At the 2005 SECCG not so great.

average.Which, honestly means fine--no big deal one way or the other. There will always be an isolated incident at any event. I'm sure there's some old woman raising cane this morning to her Pastor 'cause some new couple took her regular seat.

Congrats. solid whipping.

They weren't classless at all. I'm sure there were a few bad apples but every one I saw before and after the game was very complimentary. There was a lot of UF talk from y'all after the game though. Seemed to be really worried fwiw.

+1

I didn't have any problems this past weekend. They kept to themselves even after walking out the stadium with them.

We had about 15 at the tailgate and they were all great.

Some have been to every home and away game and it was the best tailgate they ever been to.

My experience with UGA fans was also fine before and after the game. However, the same can't be said for my last trip to Athens.

Like I responded in that thread, I had many UG fans at our tailgate before and after the game and had no problems, sat very near the the UG section in the lower bowl and had no problems or saw no problems, I asked for isolated incidents or certain stories and didnt get a response.

I kept 2 ahole georgia fans out of the game.... they called my g/f fat (which she is most definitely not), I had already gone through the gate and started yelling at them. The cops and security banned them from entering the game. UGA, they are aholes in Athens and Atlanta, and obviously they made it to BR too.

Sounds like they were smart enough not to be a-holes in Baton Rouge, but in friendly confines they revert back to their natural a-hole state.

my gf and i sat in the middel of the UGA fans and they were all great. a guy few seats down tried to start a fight with a lsu fan but thats about it. the college students infront of us complimented us on how great of a time they have had so far and how nice lsu fans are. I hate to say it but we had a great time in the uga section even though we lost.

The UGA fans seemed fine overall. However, midway through the fourth quarter, one Georgia student walked halfway down section 637 in the EU and unfurled a Confederate Flag with the Georgia logo on it. He then waived it in the faces of the LSU fans as he ascended the stairs, including placing it directly in the face of an african american woman and her 13 year old son sitting in the aisle seats. It was something no one should be subjected to anywhere, much less inside Tiger Stadium, and was one of the most classless acts I have ever witnessed.
