If we win out and UGA wins the east, all big if's, we could end up being the Auburn of last year. I think we all know how hard it will be to beat UGA again. Especially in the state of Georgia.
That being said, I still think we are beating most expectations.
PS: No extension yet though.

What does that have to do with losing to Florida

While I am ecstatic that we can actually have these conversations this year, that’s about 6 weeks away. Let’s talk about it after we whip the crap out of moo state, the gumps, and those odd fellas to the west.

I personally think if Franks can avoid dumb turnovers Florida can beat Georgia

What does Florida have to do with your take? We win out the only team we would not face twice that has a shot of winning the east is UK...

I would rather us win out and Kentucky win out. I dislike rematches.

The UF loss really doesn’t change anything if we win out.

It’s doesn't decide the east or west.

It is always better to lose to an Eastern division opponent because of the division tie-breaker.

The goal is to get to Atlanta so that you can win the SECCG and almost certainly make the playoffs.

If you lose to a top Western division opponent, you basically lose two games as far as the SEC West is concerned.

Yeah I don’t see any kind of correlation between losing to Florida and having to possibly play UGA again.

difference: Auburn had TWO losses going into the SECCG while we'd only have the one

I think you are thinking backwards. Losing to UF actually gives them a better chance of making the sec championship game...unless you're saying we shouldve beaten UF and lost to UGA?

Florida's DL is noticeably better than ours. That makes me think they have a decent chance to beat UGA. Fromm didn't respond well to pressure Saturday.

To clarify, I meant to say I think I woulda rather lose to Bama instead of UF and take the back door route like they did last year.

We pounded them pretty good. Barring big injuries, I feel pretty good about our chances.

If LSU wins out, then we'll more than likely have a rematch with either FL or GA.

What our loss has to do with that, I have no idea.

One game at a time. Next up: the cow college from Starkpatch.
