We shifted out of a double play and Stanny dropped what should have been an out. But somehow it’s only the pitchers fault he had to try for 6 outs in the inning.

Don’t want to pile it on but I cannot imagine how embarrassing that is for a pitcher. A lead off grand slam as the starter and you leave the bases loaded with two outs after starting. I never pitched at a level worth any shite but I can’t recall a start that bad.

Lach deserved better than he got. Shoulda had a DP if not for the shift then got squeezed out of called 3rd strike.
