Fun fact: That was the last time UConn didn't make the Final Four. They have been every year since (except for Covid year when there was no tournament)

How LSU always cruised into the Final Four and then lost in the semifinals EVERY TIME is beyond me. I watch LSU women's basketball, and while I don't take a loss as hard as football or baseball, the Tennessee loss in the Final Four was a shitty arse way to lose. Unfortunate LSU couldnt pull off at least one title in that great run.

The media as a whole has lost it's way and especially the biased media writers, reporters and journalist have become to emotionally invested rather than taking a logical approach to reporting what should be evidence based facts. What a punk! LSU is undefeated and UCONN is not! Logical or emotional? Simple answer in my humble opinion.

Kind of obvious why they dropped. LSU is still demolishing every team they play and deserved to move up.
On the other hand. UConn dropped due to injuries. Their best player injured her knee for a second time this season, and they're down to 7 available scholarship players. The Big East requires a minimum of 7 scholarship players to play and they've already postponed one game due to not enough players.
