during his true freshman year. How can he not have a sophomore slump? Any more production or even equal production this year sets him up to be known as one of the top 3, maybe even the best Tiger defender of all time by the end of his career @ LSU.

Which is why he needs to stay where he's already excelled, and not be a full time starting CB opposite of Mo

i agree, he got off to a fast start, faster then laron (yes, it's of french origin ) ; i hope he stays consistent like laron did. love watching him play the game.

he can put up less stats and still not be in a slump.. the ball may not bounce his way, but play makers make plays for the team.

Stop making sense, you'll hurt peoples feelings here.

The fans have built up TM as a sophomore to Laron Landry and Patrick Peterson as upper classmen all americans.

Dont get me wrong he's great, but he's got a long way to go and a lot more to prove before you can start saying that. But with that said I hope you are right and

I think TM year will be dictated on how well Tharold Simon plays. If Simon can play to his potential and play like a Chevis Jackson or even better, close to a Peteraon level, then that will free up TM to do ball hawk like last year.
If Simon doesn't reach his potential this season that will force TM to have to help Simon and changing the whole plan of the defense. Not to mention, our LB's aren't the biggest in the world so TM may play a bigger role in run support this year.

To expect better than last year, is to set yourself up for disappointment. I hope he's even better, but teams will account for his position on the field much more this year, which means others will have to step up. I expect that TM will be just as good, if not better, but the stats may not reflect it.

Why would he have a slump this year when getting placed into a starting role?

You phucks are outta your minds in here!

This kid is gonna light it up as a starter.

I'm watching Eric Reid ... he'll be as good as TM

You nutsacks need to dream up something else!

Hey, PP said TM would end up being better than he was

... so what the phuck does PP know, lol? He's holding out for $$$MMMUSDs ... and what are you nutsacks doing ... Clanging your TWO HEADS together on Tiger rant talking about TMs sophomore slump

None of you nutsacks are worth beating in the head

How about it nutsacks, why don't you rub your TWO HEADS together and come up with something negative now ... you phucking losers

Using this logic then if JJ has been so bad his first 3 years then how does he NOT have awesome senior year?

Btw Im not a negatiger and i believe JJ deserves the job and will do well this year, im just pointing out the flawed logic

The ball definitely bounced his way a fee times, but the majority of those came because ge has crazy instincts and even though it might sound cliche, he hussels. The play at Florida was the best example. He stripped the guy and the jumped back over him to get the ball.
