Hey 17: You are aware that LSU jacks up prices for our football game with Alabama & our basketball game with Kentucky? Who in the hell else is tu going to jack up prices on......Tulsa?
Reading their websites, they are really desperate to play us in baseball....even with a winning season, the mickey mouse AAC doesn't give them an RPI that gets them into the regionals without the LSU game.
They will go for the K lingo if it cuts both ways.....they don't have much of a choice.

The attendance for those games was largely LSU fans. You do realize that LSU has huge numbers of fans in the NO area?
Look up the Tulane attendance for games other than LSU.

My guess is you just get a Tulane bashing thread, but I would much prefer to play Tulane than some some of the rent-a-wins as it puts LSU in NOLA from time to time and there is at least some rivalry left (better than just pure yawners). In football, probably have to go two for one to make it work.

Re baseball, the reason CPM did not schedule them this past season, and apparently ongoing, is that the weenies would not allow the games at tulane to be televised, effectively blacking out Tiger fans everywhere. Fans screamed last yr, CPM went to tulane and asked if the ban could be lifted, and the weenies refused. They have always acted as if they are LSU's equal. They tried to call Skip's bluff re the Winn Dixie Challenge, wanting more money when it was LSU fans filling the most seats three times over. Skip told their AD to take a hike, pulled out, and the Challenge folded its tent.

If I were governor LSU would play tulane every year in every sport. 1 and 1. It was a 100 year old rivalry. What happened to this series is a crime. Anyone who disagrees with me don’t know Shiite !!!

If I were governor we wouldn’t take no bull crap from nobody. I’d have the entirety of the legislature jailed for corruption because they ARE corrupt. I would cut government in half and everybody would pay equal taxes and LSU would play tulane every year.
