And here you are on an LSU board making an entire post about how you don’t care about Tulane after you went to their game last night. All because some chick held up a sign

Too bad TU goes to a better bowl than LSU and is playing in their conference championship game. LSU is in the bottom half and figthing to stay out of the bottom 1/3 of the SEC.

So you’d change places with them?

Give me a break.

Tulane stole the Rag. They claim that it was lost when they had a fire in the student union, but I don't believe that for a minute.

We have the most insecure fan base on earth. Who gives a shite what Tulane people think or say? Who gives a shite about Alabama or Kiffin or Sun Belt Billy? Why are these things constantly at the top of peoples minds? Worry about LSU, if LSU is run right and handles business these other things disappear but our fans are more interested in which other school is going to offend them in some way. fricking pathetic, loser mentality.

Nostalgia says yes and if it had never stopped, I would agree but it is a relic of times gone by now.

Interesting tidbit, there is one team that Curley Hallman beat every year he was a college football head coach and that was our Green Wave Friends in New Orleans. The only other team he played all 7 seasons was Miss State who he was 4-3 against.

There are a lot of Tulane lovers on here that parade as LSU fans. They talked a lot of shite, but are quite today, or are still trying to put LSU down bragging about a 3 loss team...lol.....that doesn't have a win over a top 50 team.

Tulane had a nice 3 year run. Won a Cotton Bowl. Strangely enough, built an all around solid team that competes in all 3 phases and can run the ball. There is talent over there recently that led to their success and I've enjoyed watching it. The administration has removed some of the academic hurdles that crippled them in the past, emphasized talent acquisition and put an emphasis on winning and it has worked. Are they better than LSU - of course not - but they narrowed the gap and it would be a fun game for both fan bases.

LSU vs Arky in the ‘66 cotton bowl was a thing of beauty.
14-0 with Joe Labruzzo from Cut Off kicking arse. (This game ended the 2 year long R-Kansas win streak as well)

Tuck Fulane needs to be back on the schedule. Shite, either open or close the season with them.

Georgia closes out with Non-SEC Georgia Tech.
Florida closes out with Non-SEC Florida State.

Threads like this crack me up. Insecurities about being an LSU fan so you pick on a team that would likely beat us this year. Trust me, LSU wants no part of playing that team for any reason the next few years. As long as BK is coach, every inferior team we play has a shot

Tulane plays a garbage schedule so it is impossible to tell if they are any good. TU looked pretty pitiful last night.

They lost to the three teams they played with a pulse

Wouldn’t mind playing Tulane on rivalry weekend. Born and raised in New Orleans area.

Unfortunately, playing in New Orleans is not financially viable for LSU, and playing 100% in Tiger Stadium is not viable for Tulane.

It’s not to be in the foreseeable future. But it was fun while it lasted.

I don’t want to ever spend a penny watching any contest that LSU provides ANY money with them.
