Was at Tulane game last night and I look over in the crowd and see a lady holding an “LSU isn’t ranked”sign. She was waiving it around aggressively until she got on the big screen. The whole crowd erupted and started cheering. Karma stays undefeated. What a shame!

To the lady with sign: Tulane won’t be ranked much longer!

that's the kind of rivalry we need, not some contrived "battle for the boot" nonsense that absolutely no one cares about, but LSU-Tulane isn't a big money maker so it won't happen

What is the obsession with a team that’s been irrelevant since the invention of the pigskin?

Tulane plays a garbage schedule so it is impossible to tell if they are any good. TU looked pretty pitiful last night.

Wait you’re saying these teams are garbage?

SLU
USL
South Florida
UAB
Rice
North Texas
Charlotte
Temple
Navy

C’mon man, they would smash LSU.

Too bad TU goes to a better bowl than LSU and is playing in their conference championship game. LSU is in the bottom half and figthing to stay out of the bottom 1/3 of the SEC.

I think the team found out their coach is out the door to a bigger conference.

LSU would be undefeated against Tulane’s schedule.

This wouldn’t make them any better, it would just make them play in the AAC, which is a different and vastly inferior level of week to week football.

Tulane is ranked because being ranked people just refuse to accept that a team can be 9-2 and still not be as good as a 7-4 team because they get to play Charlotte and Navy and Temple and SLU.

And because rankings have been an irrelevant participation trophy for everyone outside of the top 10 for our entire lives until this year.

Tulane got absolutely worked at home by Memphis. They have three losses this year to the only three schools they have played that…play football.

The people who think Tulane would kill LSU are the same people who think Boise should get a bye in the playoff.

Just stop with Tulane.

No and frick Poolane
Yes it does matter. Those have been great games versus Arky in the last 25 years. The sEC fricked that up when they brought in sorry arse TaMU. LSU vs Arky in the ‘66 cotton bowl was a thing of beauty.

Huh? With a win tomorrow, LSU finishes 5th out of a 16 team SEC with a 5-3 conference record.

You sound like a miserable frick, Paw Paw

I was at the game too and thought it was funny because they were getting smoked by Memphis so it really doesn’t matter. There were tons of people at that game last night in LSU gear as well FWIW. Yulman is a great stadium and a fun place to go watch a game.

I wish we played them every year still. 2-1. Go to their little stadium every third year. Play one of either tech ull or ulm every year too. Work a 3-1 with them. Would be a lot of fun having an lsu away game in funroe, laffy, and ruston once a decade or so.

Bring on the downvotes…
