Uh, probably not. They might be good, but really good is unlikely.

Uh, ok. That's some real good insight there. Keep it coming Stromile.

Or maybe Kansas used up all their best pitchers on LSU this weekend because we were their CWS.

Whatever the case, this a nice sweep for the Greenies. Tulane pitched extremely well in the series.

this is what should be taken from this midweek series.. regardless of who Kansas pitched, they hit the ball all over the Box against LSU (a lot of lucky bloops too).. but they couldnt buy a hit against Tulane..

btw, im still on record saying KU goes all 'Illinois after 2 from LSU at the Box in 2009' this year..

everytime LSU loses a game or series it isn't because it's the other teams world series...sometimes you just get beat. That line that people love to use for whatever reason sounds so stupid.

Well the closer that you guys labeled lights out after last weekend came in and allowed the winning runs on a double and a balk. This bunch of young guys swung the bats well again today and played two flawless games defensively against the Jayhawks.

I never said everytime, but I think you could make a case that in this instance it had something to do with it. You can't tell me that they weren't more jacked and focused to play the #1 team in the nation in probably the biggest and nicest stadium they will play in.

ETA: I think it is safe to say we win on Friday with Ranaudo to take 2 out of 3

I dont know about that. Kansas was picked to finish 2nd behind Texas in there division in the big 12. And they are without there 3rd baseman who hit .389/21 HR/89 RBI, and also there #2 starter. So, i think they will be a regional team.
