re: Greinke HRs?!

Greinke is actually a very good athlete. When he was going through the depression and stuff with the Royals he asked them if he could play SS. So im sure he can swing it a little.

he wants to have full control of the offense. Haley has too much control with the chiefs.
You talk about earning it on the field well i would have to say TCU did everything in there power this year. Then you come up with this crap where you say schedule 6 BCS teams. Well what happens if the top teams say no, and Boise St. or TCU schedules teams Baylor, Ole Miss, any big east team, etc. You will still piss and moan and you know it. Now they beat the top team from the Big 10 and its the same bs.
Yep. Tulane plays at Hawaii next year and they will be playing 13 games next year.

If Boise played McNesse the same way that LSU did then people like you would then say wow look how much boise is struggling with McNeese. Boise st can literally do nothing right for people like you. I mean they put the back-up QB in with 5 min. left in the 3rd qtr.

I just hope they play someone with a half arse defense. TCU would wax their asses

You do realize that Boise beat TCU lasy year right?
i started them in my 16 team league, they got like 23 pts already hahah
Yea, here's a video of something from the NFL network that shows it at like the 1:50 mark

LINK
On ESPN last night I was watching something about George Blanda and he was trying to kick a game winning field goal and the other team did this. They had a guy in the endzone who was going to try and block it. So i imagine it would still be legal today.
16 team league, no ppr, should i go lance moore or chris ivory? Im leaning to lance moore right now

Doesnt change the fact that it is still a pretty big win for the wave. Road win against a BCS team that has been to 5 straight bowl games. I'd say it atleast means things are getting a little better for the wave.

Forte makes me a nervous, he showed big play ability catching the ball out of backfield but his rushing still left a lot to be desired.

Its not really Forte's lack of running skills, but more of the terrible bears o-line which prevents Forte from getting the rushing yards. Once he gets in the open field he's usually tough to stop.
All i was doing was trying to make a point that LSU should worry more about themselves and the sec competition than the guy trying to diss on tulane's recruiting. i mean LSU should expect more than tulane anyway right?
Well they won the regular season title. And there were 2 sec teams in omaha and LSU wasnt one of them.
Well LSU doesnt actually compete with Tulane. Anyways Tulane didnt even make there conference tounrey last year so having a better class then them doesnt say much. And unfortunately for LSU the best team in the SEC is Florida and they got a recruit who was drafted 9th overall and will be playing for Florida.
dukke v do you just randomly put words in all caps or is there something behind it? i mean why cant you just put all the words the same? is there supposed to be more emphasis on the word if you put it in caps?

it was probably just the D-Backs pitching lol

re: What a start!!

Posted by PsawyerIsmywife on 7/8/10 at 12:43 am to
Yea, i had a hell of a day today too.

21-44, 14 runs, 5 HR, 16 RBI, and 2 SB.

My big games were from Buster Posey, Adrain Gonzales, Brandon Phillips, and Orlando Hudson.
Wouldnt it be the Arizona Bad News Diamondbacks though? lol.

But yeah i think they ended up making 6 errors for the game. As bad as it looks though, the people who made most of the errors were back-ups. Tony Abreu made 2 at SS b/c Stephen Drew is out with a bad knee and Rusty Ryal made 3 at 1st base, i guess he was just giving LaRoche the day off, and Mark Reynolds made one as well.

I watch pretty much every game, and you can see that once something goes bad for them, the pretty much unravel pretty quickly an things get real ugly.

Oh, and Abreu made 2 errors at SS tonight, and Stephen Drew only has 3 all year.

re: Jacoby Jones

in 2005 Tulane had 2 guys picked around the 16th round and lost them both because teams went over slot and they each got a little over 1 million. They also lost a guy who went in the 30th round or so and he got like $300,000. If teams want a player, there gonna find a way to get him.

In baseball, if you hit the ball in play 30% of the time, you're great.

In football, if you complete 70% of your passes, you're great.

As a ref, if you make one bad call out of 10,000, you're the scourge of humanity.

I realize that refs cant be perfect, but you know this is a terrible analogy right. I mean in football and baseball you have an opponent who is trying to prevent you from doing those things. Refs dont have an opponent trying to make sure they dont get the call right.
I'm pretty sure he's a relief pitcher. So, they probably wont have a set game that he will be pitching in. Just a heads up.

there is no one in the world who could have caught that ball in the air. your saying it like he should have caught the ball in the air an thats not the case
