I think going into this game he is around 90%. But what if something happens during the game? Turning the ankle an awkward way to escape a pass rusher and to reset for a throw can be an issue. Also, you watch one throw. Can he do that for four quarters if he pulls the ankle again?

I honestly don’t care if Tua plays or not. We have to prepare for playing Alabama and that starts with Saban all the way down to the water boy. If my memory serves me correctly, a recent Alabama starting QB was pulled in the National Championship to be replaced with a backup that turned that game around. Now both QBs are having success. All this talk about if Tua plays/or doesn’t play doesn’t matter. Alabama has owned us for the last decade and it’s simply because they are a very good football team. Backup QBs included. Bottom line is we have to show up in Tuscaloosa and kick their arse for 60 minutes and then enjoy every minute of their miserable whining after they lose! Geaux Tigers!

...still not convinced he had any surgery at all
Saban is a snake and can’t be trusted, he can’t stay coy for two weeks acting like he’s not insane by masquerading like the squirrly imp he is by saying “game time decision “...Come on if Tua really had surgery Saban has to be on triple dose Valium to be that calm at the podium- he’s a take my ball and go home when I don’t get my way ranter
It’s a ploy to have Tua “Jump off his death bed” and put on his cape and “show he is tough as Burrow”, and know they have a premeditated excuse if Tua sucks

I could believe that. He may be able to throw the ball like it’s been shown in practice but what happens when he has to move a round and takes a hit? That’s where the real test comes. Like I said, 28 days at 70% to 20 days at?%

What he has NOT done is go full out and cut hard. The first time that happens, the results will be different.

Maybe in the future you’ll use your brain and not click on post you don’t want to read. Just move on. It ain’t hard. Going out of your way to be a dick isn’t constructive for the site. Not necessary !

You're wasting your time. These idiots eat everything Saban feeds them. Tua is not playing. His ankle is fine, but Team Hawaii is not risking his entire future on this game.

I think Mac Jones starts and Tua comes in if they’re in trouble.

True dat. Have to make him move laterally and force to throw on the run. Force him to throw in tight windows too.

There’s not a chance they’ll put a QB on an opioid to play in a game. You’d be doing more harm than good.

If Tua ends up consistently getting chased out of the pocket in the first half, he will not be able to return for the second half. Aranda!! Make it happen!!

His son just had the same surgery as Tua, on his front leg.

This is disturbing, are you saying your son's friend has a hind leg?

Bruh you think toradol will control that pain if he takes some hits on it??? He will need something a lot stronger. If Chaisson gets a clean shot at him, game over.

Stop worrying about whether Tua plays or plays at less than 100%. Act like nothing happened. Just win!

No

QBs have a plant leg and a front leg in their throwing motion

Tua’s surgery was on his front (right) leg

I am in agreement and have been saying it since the injury. But all these little Saban bitches believe everything he tells them. Tua is done playing for the Tide.
