TS renovations - renderings

Always wondered why they don’t just add chair backs throughout the stadium. Same for baseball. It just doesn’t seem like it would be that expensive.

Looks like a reduction in size, with the east and west sides collapsing some and the railing in the north endzone extending down the east and west sides (more ad space, of course). The bar in the south endzone would be a nice touch. This would take several years and be an absolute mess.

(I liked another poster's idea about expanding Mike's cage to include a tunnel over North Stadium Dr. to a viewing window facing the field, allowing Mike to technically "live" in Tiger Stadium. That idea is insane, but undeniably awesome).

What are these from? Never seen them before.

The bar area is in the north, look at the view of the pmac. Looks like the south bc there is an upper and lower section but I think the plan is to have split level all the way around

That’s the north endzone.

I think it would be a pretty nice touch, if they could pull it off. That particular rendering appears to also show extension of the east and west uppers further north (note how the part where the stands start curving has an upper deck immediately above it).

Seems like adding more seats might not be the best idea at this point, but what do I know?

I do like the bar overlooking the PMAC though.

I wonder if some of that is to connect the whole stadium so you can walk all the way around

North endzone concourse has become unbearable, something must be done. It will be an engineering miracle if they could pull anything like that off
