LSU wouldn't be under a postseason ban this season and Wade was going to put a Top 10 team on the court. Is LSU better off with MM and not a Top 10 team?
And before people start with the, "Oh, it takes time to rebuild a program!" Texas Tech and Missouri both had massive turnover in their programs, new coaches, lots of transfers, etc.

of course its true. even if wade lost players because of postseason ban, he would rebuild immediately.
shoulda kept wade and he woulda been hanging banners evnetually.
that said, we must be patient. none of this is mcmahons fault. if he cant bring in good transfers next year and win we can start being angry at him. this year was hopeless from the start.

This is the most important part. MM came in and Noone was left in the building. He had to hit the ground running and it wasn't like the cupboards were bare. There weren't even any cupboards. Don't grade him on this year. Just because you had higher expectations for year one than we're achieving doesn't mean his whole term here is a failure.

There are no more than 5 players on thr court at any given time. He brought with him 3 players from HIS previous team that won 31 games including an NCAA game just last season. 2 were starters and one played a significant role. He had Miller, who by all accounts was likely starting but at a minimum a 20+ min guy last season u til his injury and Wilkinson who has shot 40+% from 3 all 3 previous seasons and is a dog defender. Then he brought in a top 20 class with 3 6’10” centers 2 being 4* and one 3* and a 6’7” swing man that was a high 4 low 5* freshman have not played or developed. Then there were all of the other transfers that are playing.
There is talent. The fact is I don’t mind losing. It is how poorly this team is playing and his inability to get them competitive is a problem.
